National Blog Posting Month comes to an end

So I dont know if you know...but November is National Blog Posting Month, all you had to do was post one entry every day in November, and by George I did it. I am quite proud of myself. I have posted for 30 days straight, sometimes more than once...maybe I will be able to keep up this trend. I've enjoyed blogging everyday, its one of my releases after a long day of school and work....we will see what December holds. So I'm ending my November, with a funny face, from my funny little man (my editing made his eyes look funny...they were red). But I love his face.

Bored

Oh man I am bored. I'm sitting in class waiting for it to be over. I'm done with all the assigned work, next week I will only have to come 2 days. But I just finished and there is no point for me to leave, I cant clock in at work early and all I would do there is sit around. I had a test this morning...I got an A (yay me!!) I haven't been doing too good on the test in this class, so I made myself study more for it. I want to be on the Dean's List again, and I'm not going to do it with a B. So I only have 3 more weeks until finals, hopefully I can get everything where it needs to be. I've been making list all day of stuff to get done. Man December just seems like a busy month. Okay well I'm leaving, I'm going to run to the post office before work. That will kill some time.

Randomness...

Thought I would post this picture...we thought it was so cute. That dogs name is Scrappy and he is Tanner's protector, all five pounds of him. Ever since Tanner was born, Scrap made sure no one got near Tanner. Now that Tanner is older and likes to "pet" the puppies Scrappy just protects him when he's asleep. If Tanner's awake, he's far enough away that Tanner can't get him but close enough to keep an eye on him. The first time we saw Scrappy protect Tanner he was maybe a week old. Scott was in the bedroom playing the xbox and he had Tanner in his little bouncy seat next to him (my mom stayed with us for 10 days after Tanner was born, and so did the dogs) any ways, a friend of Scott's came over to see Tanner so he went into the room, and Scrappy jumped in front of him and started growling. The closer he got to Tanner the louder he got. We thought it was too cute...and now 2 years later he still protects my little man. I can only hope that Charlie grows up to be like that too. Not only Tanner's best friend, but a protector as well.

Where is it???

The Christmas Spirit? Because I cant seem to get into a holiday mood. Even with funny pictures like this. I dont know if its because the weather is warm (it was 73 today), or because I'm worried about making sure everyone gets presents....we're a little short on money this year seeing I've not worked since August. Even with my new job, I'm only going to get 2 little paychecks before Christmas...it sucks. I know Christmas isn't about gifts, but I love to give them. I love watching everyone open presents, and seeing the look of suprise on their faces. Its the best part to me. I'm not use to being so broke this time of year. I know next year things will be better, but right now...they just seem blah, making me want to say "Bah Humbug" Everything is happening so fast, Scott's company Christmas party is this weekend on the 2nd. Then Tanner's bday party in on the 16th, and then his birthday is the 22nd and that also happens to be the day we're going to spend Christmas with my family...we get back on the 24 and have Christmas here. Oh my. Just lots and lots going on. I wish the Holiday Spirit would just slap me in the face...maybe Sat, when we put up the tree. Who knows. I'm off to study some more. I have a test tomorrow. My wonderful husband came home early from work tonight, and he's helping me study. He's just too awesome for words.

When Tanner gets mad...out comes the Hulk

I was asleep when this was taken today, but he looks like the baby Incredible Hulk. Scott had given him a sucker, and Tanner decided to color with a green crayon, so from what I gather the slobber and the green from the crayon didnt mix, and this is the end result. Scott thought it was funny and let him do it, and he was all clean by the time I woke up. Its pretty cute. But then again I always think he's cute.

Post 501....

So we are still in North Carolina. Yep, my wonderful husband said we could stay the extra day so I could spend more time with my folks. I was bummed earlier that we were leaving and he said as long as we leave early we could stay. Yea!! I've gotten alot done. I've gotten most of a big project for school done, I've gotten all my Christmas labels made, I got our picture for our Christmas cards made...I'm on a roll. Tanner has been having so much fun being around his "Nani" and "PaPa" and of course his Auntie Kristi, he got upset when she had to go to bed (she works 3rd shift). As you can see he is in to everything, he found my dad's reading glasses, and put them on, we couldn't resist taking a picture. I've taken like 100 pics in the past 2 days. We went to visit my cousin and here son, Logan. He is 14 months old. He's my cousin which makes him Tanners cousin too. Tanner wanted to play so bad, but Logan wasn't sure about him. Tanner gave him love, and made sure he shared the toys.Sorry that the pics arent cropped and cleaned up, I'm using my dad's computer, and he has so many programs that I'm not even attempting to find one. But the next ones I post will be cropped and pretty. Well I'm off to watch a movie with my family. We'll be back in Ga tomorrow morning, and back to the normal hussle and bussle of our lives.

My 500th post!!

And I wanted it to be something snazzy and exciting, and yet its not. We're in NC for after Thanksgiving with my parents. Tanner has been on the go, go,go since we got here, my mom just got him to sleep. I have taken lots of cute pics, but seeing this is not my computer, I dont like to upload them on here, (I hope I get a lap top for Christmas). So when we get home tomorrow, I will upload them. We're going to visit my cousin and her son who is 15 months old tomorrow. Then back here for a few more hours with my parents. I hate that we have to leave, but Scott has to work on Sunday. Hope everyone had a good Turkey day. Did any one dare to go shopping today? If you did, you are brave, brave, brave in my book.

Some Turkey Day fun....

So we went to my inlaws for Turkey Day dinner, and Tanner and Scott found a silly way to entertain themselves.

Photo Sharing - Upload Video - Video Sharing - Share Photos
They started this at my mom and dads on the hard wood floor. Tanner loves it, the only problem is, he doesnt want to stop.

Thankful...

Hopefully this works without messing everything up....Today is a day for Thanks...even though it seems to get shoved aside for the shopping season, I've decided to show thanks today in a post...it kinda long...mostly pictures....
I am thankful for my husband. I am so lucky to have found a man who loves me unconditionally, who supports my dreams, and encourages me to be myself, and tells me to hold my head up when I feel bad, who tells me I'm beautiful, even on my worse days. I am truly blessed to have found a man like Scott. He is my rock in life...and for that I am grateful.
I am truly blessed with the best parents ever. Who love me and spoil, and who are always there for me even though I'm all grown up and have my own family. I am grateful that Tanner has awesome grandparents who spoil him rotten...I am blessed because my little sister is my best friend. I know she will always be there for me if I need her...she has been in the past, and I could never thank her enough. She inspires me to be a more charitable person, I have never met a more giving person that my sister, she will give her last penny to the Salvation Army, or her neighbor if they need it. She has taught me to be a better person, and I am very grateful for that.
I am grateful for the friends I have in my life. I know that they will always be there for me, if I need to talk or vent. I hope they know I will always be there for them too.
I am so grateful for all of you who stop by everyday and read my blog. Even though I don't know alot of you person, I feel like I do. You share your lives with me, and it makes my day to come home and find new comments on my blog. I can't wait to see what picture of Randie, has been posted, or see what funny thing that Austen has said to Ian. Or see how my fave four are doing in school, or see wonderful pictures of Joey and Patrick, thank you so much for sharing.
But most of all I am grateful for this little boy. The one who makes me smile everyday, the one who melts my heart when he wraps his arms around my neck. He constantly reminds me that no matter how bad things get, there is always someone wonderful waiting at the front door for me, to make me smile. I have truly been blessed with my little "Toot"

Its almost here...he's 23 months old.....

One more month...thats all I have, and my baby is 2!! I cant believe it. I swear it seems like I just posted about him being 22 months old. Its just flown by. And he has learned so much in the past month...his vocabulary has really taken off. Besides saying "What?" when I call, he can now say "Your Welcome." When he wants something to eat he says "Please some?" and points. He starting to say "Please one" I cant complain that he's not polite. He can say thank you. He's just gotten so big so quick. We decided today to put him in daycare come Jan. Just 3 days a week, just do he'll get some interaction with children. He wont go to the one I work at, I'm going to put him in the one my mother in law works at, its a little cheaper, and she can work with him, where as if he comes to the one I'm at, I'll have to go to another room. SOOOO....well thats it, I'm just a little sad that his birthday is creeping up on us so fast. I mean I bet if I blink 3 times it will be here...so now I'm going to get toothpicks to hold my eyes open so I dont miss anything.

Gotta Love that Georgia Weather

OH MY GOD ITS COLD!!! Wow, it got cold so quick, it was just 75 the other day, and now its 37!! I got out of school and it was sleeting, and on the news they said its snowing 30 minutes away. And you want to know what the funny thing is? Tomorrow it will probably be 80 degrees again. Go figure. I know the big worry right now is if it freezes tonight, how much ice will be out there in the morning. I kind of hope there is, then I dont have to work...but I still have to go to school. I had Tanner all bundled up coming home. I know he hates it, he's so hot natured....well I'm off, I have homework, and I need to get everything ready for tomorrow...you know shorts and all..

Should we be Scared...

Oh my goodness!! Have any of you read THIS? They can't be seriouse? Bring back the draft. Are they nuts. I mean all of us would be involved in this, not just our husbands or boyfriends. They are saying if it gets passed that men and women, ages 18-42 will be included. That means me, Scott, my sister...all of us can be forced to go into the military to fight in a war we want over...what would happen to our kids? I cant even imagin what life would be like if Scott had to go away for a year or more. I would go nuts. As I read it, this is suppose to be something that goes up for a vote in Jan. Man, what a way to start out the New Year.

What?!

I just called my child's name, and do you know how he replied? "What?" I mean come on, isnt that suppose to be a teenage response? Not one from my baby boy. "What?" Like I was interrupting him or something. Oh my. Time is creeping up on me fast. His birthday is a month away. Where did the time go? Where did this year go? Its hard to believe the year is basically gone. Wow, at this rate...he'll be a teenager next summer. WHAT?

Tis the Season...

Look who is already in the mall? Can you believe Santa is there before Thanksgiving? OMG. Well since there was no line we went ahead and had his picture made. I was kind of disappointed. Last year he did so good, and this year he just wanted to get down. We've been so busy today, we went out and did a lot of Christmas shopping, I got quite a bit done. Hopefully we'll be done by the first. I said hopefully. I'm not making any guarantees.

Its cold season...did you know?

I found this over at The Wait and Wonder and all of those with kids could probably benifit from it. Yes it is kind of comical, but its true. Who knew sneezing in your sleeve would prevent germs from going everywhere? Kinda sad that we tell our kids not to do it, and its the right thing to do. Check out this video, its long. Just to warn you. And this is not a payperpost. This is just something I thought ya'll might want to know.

Check out Antonio..

This dude is on PayPerPost...Antonio-Master-Impressionist. How funny is it that he can "transfor" himself into a catfish? I love the fake accent, it makes me crack up. We can all do it, but watching someone else make the "catfish" on a shower door is just too funny. They have a challenge for PayPerPost for people to do there own "Catfish", while I am nowhere, near as cool as Antonio, wouldn't it be too cute it I could teach Tanner how to do it. They'd love us for sure. Of course we'd have to do a voice over for him, or maybe we could just teach him to say Catfish. So take a minute, and watch ANTONIO MASTER IMPRESSIONIST do his great trick, believe me you'll get a good laugh.

Ahhh Thursday....

I love Thursdays, I can always breath a sigh of relief. I dont have school tomorrow, and I get to sleep past 6. Wooo Whooo!! Even though tomorrow is going to be a busy day, I have to go to the mall, and then to work, and right after work, I am meeting everyone for a birthday party. Good thing I can wear my scrubs. Today was a good day at work, running after 7 one year olds for 5 hours is tiresome. Let me tell you. Tomorrow I have to try and see if I can find something for them to do. The lady that is normally in there just lets them run around all day. I'm going to see if I can get them to color, or play some little games. Because its very hard to keep them all entertained. Again, I missed my "Toot" Someone at worked asked how do I miss him after being around little people half the day, I simply said, "They are not mine." No matter how cute they are, they are not Tanner, and even while I'm chasing them down, I am missing him. Well I get all weekend to spend with him. I"m so excited. I have to make sure we get out to do something....

What a long day.....

Too start off I woke up not feeling so good again...I'm thinking PMS. I usually get totally drained right before my period. I had a hard time concentrating in class all day. And I really have to concentrate in 2 of my classes. So after class I go to my first day of work. It was kind of wierd having a first day of work. I mean I was at WalMart for 10 years I haven't had a first day in a long time. But everyone was wonderful. I got to stay in the baby room most of the time. Which was fine by me. I helped out in a couple of the other age groups, but it was mostly babies today. And I missed mine. Boy did I miss mine. I've been home with him for so long it was hard not seeing him all day. It was hard not seeing my "big" baby too, but we've talked on the phone and emailed so its not so bad. So I'm tired, and I still have some homework, (not too much). The wind is blowing, and its thundering and raining, and all I want to do is go curl up in bed. I love this weather, its the best sleeping weather. BUT someone took a really late nap, and I dont see him wanting to go to bed yet. Hopefully by 10. Oh one more thing guess what?! WE GOT AN ELMO! WE GOT AN ELMO!! One of my friends who still works at Walmart came through and bought Tanner one for Christmas. We tried to pay but she said "No, its his Christmas" I asked 3 times, I'm not going to ask again. Well I'm off to do some homework, and hopefully get some good sleep. Oh yes before I forget..THANK YOU TONYA, FOR FIXING MY BLOG!! I LOVE IT! THANK YOU MIR, FOR TRYING TO HELP, YOU GUYS ARE JUST TOO AWESOME FOR WORDS!!! And of course I can't end a post without a picture...so here you go, Tanner is giving Charlie kisses...I'm so glad we got him a puppy. He loves this little guy...

Do I love PayPerPost? Yes I do!!

I do!! I do!! I mean honestly what's not to love? I get paid to blog. What other reason do you need? I get paid to blog!! I also love how easy it is to pick a topic to write about. Its so easy, all I have to do is scroll through the list of opprotunities and pick one or two, or even three. I also love the fact that it challenges me to think about what I write. By writing about a product or a website, I get to research it and I learn a whole bunch of cool stuff....and I get paid for it. So I guess you can tell that money is the reason I love it most. Yes I'm greedy...lol. But I get to be with this. Blog reviews...websites, products, I get to pick and choose what I get paid for. I get to make sure the stuff I blog about it appropriate for my blog, but interesting (hopefully) for my readers too. I love PayPerPost most of all because its kind of a job I have control over...how many of us can say that?

My not so great day....

So I woke up dead tired for some reason, (I am normally a morning person). I had a hard time concentrating in school today. I go to my job interview, and it turns out that its not really an interview but a training day. I start work tomorrow. I come home expecting Scott to be happy and he's not. He was prett upset. So that made everything worse. Scott and I dont fight, so when one of gets upset it makes it harder on me...He finally said he wasnt mad, just selfish. Because he's been so use to me being home and being able to see me everyday. While I'm working we wont see each other Mon-Thrus. I get up and go to school...Scott's in bed, from school I go straight to work. I get off between 430 &530, and Scott will already be at work. He doesnt get home until 130am, and I'm already asleep...and it starts over. So we will only see each other in our sleep. I'm not too happy about not seeing him either. I love spending all this time with Scott, but we need money for Christmas, I told him I will quit after Christmas if he wants me to...I just want to make sure we can afford Christmas...I dont know. I'm still tired, and I've been coughing...I have homework, and dishes to do and all I want to do is sit in my recliener and watch tv....sighs.

The Silly Kid

Not too much going on today, been a bit lazy. I did get all my homework done before Scott went to work. Tanner and I , and of course Charlie took a nap. Tanner and Charlie are still sleep. I probably should go get him up, so he'll sleep tonight. I have to get up early to go get my midterm grades and make sure my schedule doesn't change this 6 weeks. I hope not, I love getting out of school at noon. It will make for getting a job easier. Hopefully I will hear about the one I applied for soon. (fingers crossed)

Some Tanner stuff...

Tanner has been a firecracker today. Oh my. He's been getting into everything, and he's always wanting to hold Charlie...by the head, or upside down. We're trying to teach him to be easy, at least until he's bit bigger. He's been fusy today, but on the go-go-go. He took a nap, and ate. But he's still kind of cranky. I think its because he's hot. This damn weather wont make up its mind. We've got every fan in the house going. I refuse to turn the air on for 2 days. I'm not doing it I tell ya. Tanner has been sleeping in his own bed. We were working on it, but we got slack again. But for the past 2 nights he's been in his own bed until 8 or 9 o'clock. This morning I woke up at 8 and found him like this:
He was still asleep. I didnt want to bother him because I was afraid I would wake him up. But it is too cute. On a side note, Charlie drank some formula, and Scott got him to eat puppy food. Just a few pieces, but its a start. So we're going to give him formula twice a day, for 2 weeks, just to make sure he's getting what he needs. You make sure he gets the whole eating from a bowl. He's been so cute today. He's been playing hide and seek with Toot. I love to watch it. Well my pumpkin bread just dinged so I'm off, UFC comes on in 30 and I have to get everything ready...drinks, snacks...all that good stuff.

Charlie

Poor Charlie had a rough night. I had to show him how to drink water out of a bowl, and then he threw it up. I think he was handled too much yesterday, with us holding him and Tanner trying to carrying him around...but today he woke up and he was very playful and he drank without getting sick. So hopefully it was a one time thing. He still hasnt eaten. So in a little while we will be going to PetMart to get him some puppy formula, at least until we can teach him how to eat. My mom asked if he had teeth, he does, but I notice his bottom ones arent all the way through yet. Maybe that's why he wont eat.
Tanner loves him, and he loves to play with Tanner. He chases Toot all over the place, and he just giggles. I'm going to try and video tape it. Its adorable. And it must be love, because Tanner gave him a paci. I told him, if he gives it to Charlie, he can't have it back. Maybe this will be a quick way to get him off the paci...even its not, he has like 20 more. LOL!

Introducing....drum roll please

This is Charlie. The newest member of our family. Isn't he adorable? He is so cute and cuddly. We got him today. Dont ask me what kind of dog he is because I will have to tell you he's a Heinz 57...a mutt. But when we saw him we couldn't resist. He and Tanner have become quick buddies. Tanner laid down for a nap and Charlie curled up right next to him. I've been wanting to get a puppy, but we weren't sure what to get, and yesterday one of the neighborhood kids knocked on the door and asked if we wanted a puppy. They brought one to the door, one of Charlie's sibblings. I wanted to get that one but I had to ask Scott first. So by the time I got ahold of him, they had given that one away, but today they brought Charlie to see us and it was love at first sight. He's so smart. We've shown him the puppy pad once, and he keeps going back. So hopefully he wont be hard to house break. He hasnt eaten anything today, or had anything to drink. We've tried, but I dont think they started them on food. He is just 6 weeks old. So I guess we will have to teach him. I also went and applied for a job today. Hopefully they will call me back soon. Well I'm off for now...its been a long day, and I have to get Charlie's basket ready for him to sleep in....

Does this make us lucky?

I'm writing in red in honor of ALL the lady bugs that have taken residence in our front yard and the front of our house. I am being seriouse when I say there are at least 70 of them on the front of our house. I tried to get a picture of some of the areas where there were more than one, but they didnt turn out so good. I've always heard that lady bugs were lucky. If thats the case, we must have some good luck coming our way. LOL. Its strange because its around this time every year that our house gets swarmed with lady bugs. I'm not complaining because out of all the bugs that could swarm our house, beside butterflies, lady bugs are probably the best. Even if they dont bring us any luck, they sure are pretty.

Too Quiet....

Well my house is quiet. Too quiet. I'm not use to Tanner not being here. But my mother in law has him so I can study. ( I had to take a break, my brain hurts). I have 3 mid terms tomorrow. I feel pretty confident that I will do good. I had one today, and I feel good about it. We will see tomorrow. I made a desicion today. Not one that I'm real happy with, but one I needed to make. I'm going to apply for a part time job on Friday. With Christmas coming we need the extra money. Scott really doesn't want me to go to work, but I told him after Christmas we'll decide if I stay. There is a daycare hiring, and they might give me 3-4 hours a day. Which is good. Just a little extra money. Because I love Christmas...and I want to make sure we have money for a nice one. So we will see how that goes. Well I'm off for some more studying, my little one should be here soon. Then it will be off to bed.

Gotta love Pinks

Scott and I love this show!! We can't wait for November 23rd which just happens to be Turkey day, because there is an all day marathon of PINKS followed by premiere of PINKS All Out on Speedtv. Awesome. The cars these guys race are too cool. And of course it wouldn't be exciting without the wrecks. This is real drag racing. If they loose they loose their rides. (Pinks). So its pretty much all or nothing when it comes to this kind of drag racing. Just to let you know, I'm sure you've guessed, this is a PayPerPost, and this post sponsored by Speedtv.com

Well today was okay. I came home to a happy kid. I had an okay day at school. Got to spend sometime with my hubby and we watched Heros!! Awesome episode for those of you who watch it. Here are some pics of my cute kid, behaving and just playing.....
And after he takes a nap, he's pretty mellow so I decided to go check our email while he was wathcing tv. He was quiet, but I wasn't worried because he just woke up and he was drinking his milk...I wasn't worried until I started smelling something, something that smelled pretty good...now I'm worried and I run into the living room. And guess what I find, the return of POWDER BOY!! (Its hard to be mad at someone so cute!)Needless to say there was a huge mess in my living room again. But this time my vacum decides that baby powder is too fine to get out of my carpet. Great, just great. So now I have to find a way to get baby powder out of my dark blue carpet. Any ideas? Here is my poor vacum:

Mortgages for dummies...like me.

I myself have never bought a new house, but Scott has. I know it seemed to take the mortgage company forever and a day to get everything straight. It took almost 3 months before he moved in here. Now we're thinking about getting another house one that's not too far out in the boonies like we are now. Well there is this website PersonalHomeLoanMortgages.com that informs you about the differant kinds of fraud that take place out there. They also help people understand the mortgage process. Which is great for people like me. They also protect customer data is through SecureTrust which guarantees compliance with FTC, DoNotCall & Can Spam regulations. Which is cool to me too. So if you're thinking about getting a mortgage, buying a house and all that good stuff, check them out.

Kids say the darnedest things

A small boy was sent to bed by his father. Five minutes later..."Da-aaad" "What?" "I'm thirsty, can you bring me a drink of water?" "No, you had your chance. Lights out." Five minutes later..."Da-aaad" "What?" "I'm THIRSTY. Can I have a drink of water?" "I told you NO! If you ask again, I'll have to spank you." Five minutes later...."Da-aaad" "When youi come in to spank me, can you bring me a glass of water?" Okay if that one didn't make you laugh, this one will. One day a first grade teacher was reading the story Chicken Little to her class. She got to the part where chicken little warns the farmer. She read "and Chicken Little went up to the farmer and said, "The sky is falling ! The Sky is falling!" The teacher then asked the class, "And what do you think the farmer said?" One little girl raiser her hand and said "I think he said "Holy Sh*it! A talking chicken!" The teacher was unable to teach for the next 10 minutes. The picture was taken a few days ago, I think he's getting ready for potty training. He taking his diapers off when he wets them. So hopefully we'll get started in a month or so.

Poker Anyone?

Anyone out there like to play online poker besides me and my dad. Of course when we play we don't make any money from our outrageous bets. But if we wanted to, there is the online poker site, that says right at the the top "You play, We pay." come on how cool is that. Of course if you have a gambling problem its probably not for you, but if you want some fun, check it out. They even teach you how to play. So check it out. See how much you can win, I know I am.

Lazy Sunday

I was completly lazy today. I dont know what was wrong with me. But when I woke up Scott had cleaned the kitchen and fed Toot lunch. So after Scott went to work I took Tanner in the back yard and let him cut loose. He loves to be outside and I love to watch him out there. I figured I before it gets too cold he should be able to play. And of course while he was playing I took a ton of pictures. Here are a few. I couldnt pick which ones were the best so I posted a few. I dont know what he was doing but he sure looks like he's mad. (he wasnt) but he could have fooled me.
He thought his sandbox was a slide. He kept crawling on it and going "Wheee!!" its not a big incline but he enjoyed it. I guess I need to start looking for a slide for the back yard.
He was "mowing" the grass here. He went around the whole yard, just like his daddy. I wish Scott would have been here for this. He would have got a kick out of it. Tanner also said our dog's name today. He was telling the puppy to sit. So I said Bizkit sit, and he goese Biz-kit. He's learning so many new words, but of course when I try to get him to repeat them for someone he just laughs like, nope I'm making a liar out of you mom.

Another busy day...

I thought it was adorable the way he fell asleep on Scott...please excuse the dirty face... That being said, we had another busy day. We had to take my care into the shop to find out what was wrong with it. For some reason the gas cap just wouldn't stay put. So they replaced it. The lady said she had never seen that before. Hopefully that fixed the problem. We went and did some more Christmas shopping, I am glad to say that Tanner's birthday and Christmas is almost finished. I have like 4 more things to buy. Hopefully we will have everything done before Thanksgiving. Thats my goal this year. We will see. Tanner has been so whiney today, that's not like him at all. I dont know if he's getting sick or what. I hope not. Well I have midterms next week. Yuck. I hate taking test and next week that's all I'm going to be doing. Ugh. Well I guess I'm going to watch another movie with my husband and brother in law...we just finished The Fast and the Furious Tokyo. It was suprisingly good. And even though I won't admit this in front of Scott, Nacho Libre wasn't all that bad either. Now dont anyone go and tell him I said that, because I will be like a politician and Deny, Deny, Deny!

Just letting you know...I get paid.

Sometimes. I was looking through some blogs and saw that people think we should put out there that we get paid for some of our post. Those of us who use PayPerPost. You know what? I'm all for it. I think its great, for many reasons, but mainly maybe if you see that I'm getting paid maybe then you might want to, too. There is this cool site that has a Disclosure Policy Generator. It asks some questions and makes a policy for you. How cool is that. If you look down at the bottom of my sidebar you will see a permenate link to mine. Just for kicks here's my disclosure policy for all to read.

Some detective work...

I titled my post Some detective work, and posted a cute picture of my kid. Yeah doesn't quite match. But it has nothing to do with my young'un being cute. I just wanted to post the picture. BUT it does have to do with my car. So on Tuseday I pull in the yard after school and right before I turn off my car the check engine light comes on...(my car is only 6 months old.) So I'm like its a fluke. Well it came on again while we were trick or treating. SO I asked Scott to call OnStar to run a diagnostic on my care. He was suppose to do that yesterday. Well yesterday on the way to school my car starts to beep at me and it says check gas cap. SO I pull over into a bank parking lot and check and its completely off. Now we have an awesome cap, and we hadn't put gas in it since Saturday. So if it had been off that long it would have beeped earlier. So anyway I figure that's why the check engine light was on, it use to do that in my old car. So on the way to school today guess what? My car starts beeping at me to check my gas cap. The one I know was on right. So when I get to school, guess what?! Its all the way off again. So now I'm t thinking someone from around here is playing games, and its pissing me off. Scott's first thought was they put sugar in my tank, but my car is running fine. So we ruled that out. Now we think someone may be taking my gas. So I filled up today, and Scott drove it to work to see if it comes loose. Then when he gets home we're going to dust the cap with flour (a little CSI) my sister gave us the idea, so we can at least see if that's what's happening. If no one touches it and it comes off tomorrow, I guess we'll have to make a trip to Saturn. Thank goodness for warranties. On a side note, my awesome husband did the laundry today and had the living room cleaned when I got home so I didn't have to do it. He is such a doll.

The Halloween Post

Here we are, the ghostbuster, Spiderman, and The Black cat. Notice Tanner has on a mask....it was the only picture we got. Here is my hubby the GhostBuster...he one first prize at work for the costume contest. This is the first house we stopped at. He was not too sure what to do, and he was tired, so he just sat down and waited for them to put the candy in the bag. It took him awhile to figure it out. I think this is my favorite picture of the night. He was ready to go by now, he was following the big kids and telling everyone "Bye! Bye!" This was our last house of the night, and he decided he wanted to knock on this one...of course we rang the bell... This is one of Austin, Kayla, Dalton (notice the bandage) and Tanner. He had a good ol' time with these 3. All in all, Halloween was great. The weather was awesome and once Tanner got into the swing of things, he was on the go. We were bummed that Scott had to work. Maybe next year. Since he is already think of our costumes....hope everyone had a great time.
