Just a quickie today...lol

Well not too much going on. I cleaned today. I've been keeping up with some of the Fly Lady stuff so there wasnt soo much to do. Just a lot of laundry. We really need to get rid of some clothes. Me and Tanner played. He's learned how to roll the ball back to you when you roll it to him, he will sti there for hours if you can. I got my hair cut yesterday. I will take some pics when I can get to look like it did yesterday. I should have taken them yesterday, BUT.... Tanner was invited to go to Chuck E Cheese yesterday by his aunt Beck Beck. Scott was tired and didnt want to go while I was at my hair appt. (Which by the way didnt get over with until noon). So its been a pretty uneventful weekend. Tomorrow is back to the grind stone. Hopefully we'll be able to get our taxes done Tues....Scott still hasnt got any of his W-2 s yet. Its crazy. We usually have our money back by now. Oh well. Well I'm off to put my little one down for the night. Until later.

I havent really talked about it....

Well today was sad day for us. Our dog Security had to be put down today. He was beautiful dog. Why you ask did we have to put down such a gorgouse animal? Well, actually my parents had him put down. But we made the final decision. We gave my parents Security just before Christmas. He kept getting out of our yard, and we live in the boonies so the speed limit is almost non exsistant here. So my parents offered their huge fenced in yard where the speed limit is like 2 miles an hour. Well a couple of weeks ago, Security wanted in my parents house and my dad told him no, and he bit my dad. BAD. Bad enough that he spent 8 hours in the ER. My dad never goes to the doctor. So when they told me I knew it was bad. So Scott and I told them to have him put down, because once a dog bites someone that bad, you cant really trust them again. I would have never forgiven myself he hurt someone else. I felt bad enough he bit my dad. Who is fine by the way. My parents bless their hearts, they tried to find someone else to take him. They even tried programs for labs but they were told he was too old and he would probably bite again. SO this morning they took him to the vet. And that would be the end of it....

Well I'm back

Well, its been awhile. My two days off with my hubby were wonderful. We went to the movies with our friends Mary & Daniel tues. and saw UnderWorld 2. It was good. I like those kind of movies. Then Wed. we went to dinner with my friend Annette and her husband Travis. He just got back from Iraq on Fri. So it was good to see him home and safe. It just sucks that he has to go back superbowl weekend. But he's home for good in May. What else is there to post about...oh yeah. Our little monster. The Dr. called me Wed and let us know he is anemic. He has to take iron drops twice a day for a month then we go back and see. Apparently some of his counts were pretty low. But the doc didnt sound worried so I wont worry...yet. But on a happy not. He is running all over the place. I love it. He chases us down the hall, then turns around and runs. I love it. He's learning so many new things everyday. Its exciting and a little sad in a way. He's becoming so independant already. (sighs) Well I 'm off to get something ready for my husband to eat. He should be home soon. Until tomorrow...

Well just a note before I walk out the door to work...yes I know its 530am. But I probably wont be posting for the next 2 days. I was complaining about not having time to spend with my hubby. Since he is off for the next 2 days I plan on taken advantage of it. So..since he's snoozing right now he wont know I'm on here. LOL. I think we're going to the movies with some friends tonight then tomorrow we're suppose to see a friend who just came home from Iraq. So we will be busy anyway. Well hope everyone has a good day. Until later ya'll.

Again...nothing new

Well we got our new fridge. Its pretty nice. I had to go out and buy more cold groceries because most of it went bad. But hey. Poor Scott, he got up all early this morning because they were suppose to drop the fridge off before 12, well I get a call at 2 saying they're not here yet so mom will be here when you get here. Soo...when I got home at 345 it was here and running. Who would have thought I'd get excited about a new fridge. LOL. Anyways thats my news for the day. Work is work. Its slowed down alot so there isnt too much to stress about. Thank goodness. We're just working on putting things back where they belong and going through lots of resets. But hey, thats to be expected at the begining of the year. Well I'm off. Until later ya'll.

Aaahhhhh!!!!!!

Aaahhh!! Thats how I feel right now. I swear. I woke up this morning and everything in our fridge and freezer was melted. Just great. So guess what we had to do today? Get a new fridge. I wasnt panicking becasue it is tax time and we are getting money back so we will be okay. Its just we wanted to get a new living room suit with it. Now we owe his mom more money. Which is fine. I would rather owe her than have another credit card. While I'm on the subject of parents, I have to say how abosluty wonderful both of ours are. Both sets of parents came to the rescue when we told them about the fridge. We are so lucky to have people who love so much. Okay. So my Sunday was pretty much spent picking out a fridge and cleaning so they can drop it off tomorrow. I hope everyone had a good weekend. Well until later ya'll.

Nada

There hasnt been too much going on today. Me and Toot spent the whole day playing and being lazy. Fly lady would not be too happy, I didnt do any of my routines, BUT in my defense Sat. is family day. LOL. I havent really posted in the past 2 days because besides random thoughts of nothingness, I havent had to much to say. I was little upset today because its my day off and I saw my husband for all of 2 hours, unless you count the time he was sleeping. I hate that our schedules are so differant. I leave when he's asleep and he comes home and I'm asleep. Its what works for us right now. I mean this way little man doesnt have to go to a sitter except for an hour at his grandma's 3 days a week. I guess I'm just being selfish. I MISS MY HUSBAND!!!! I know, I know, heres your violin. Well I'm off. Tanner is getting a little fussy and its time for some milk and bed. Until later ya'll.....

Tanner's Day

His day went good. We did have to take him to have some blood drawn, but his "Aunt" Beck-Beck had a very nice lady do it. She was quick and only had to stick once. SO he did okay. We have to wait until the Dr calls to see how everything came out. Oh yeah, Tif, the dr said she didnt think he was lactose intolerant because his formula was milk based, she thinks he had a bug, and that could make him temporaraly lactose intolerant. So no Milk til Monday and we try again and see what happens. Well later ya'll going to watch Transporter 2.

One year check up

Well Toot had his one year check up today. He is 32 inches tall. 22lbs. (a little under weight but nothing to worry about) he doing everything he is suppose to be doing and then some. But then of course come the awful shots. I think I hate them as much as much as he does. He got three of them today. Plus he got that finger prick test. Which I hate more than shots. But he did better with the prick. Well they do that iron test and it came back that he's amemic. So now tomorrow we have to take him to have more test done. Poor little guy. He's gone through so much this past month. And he's been a trooper through it all. He's going to be one tough kid when he gets older thats all I've got to say. Okay well I'm getting off here and going to spend some time with my young 'un and husband. Until later ya'll.

Sunday...

So, today was a pretty uneventful day. I cleaned and played with Tanner. Which is my favorite thing to do. While I was cleaning though I came to the realazation that me and the fly lady have to come some kind of common ground. Because I like the whole idea of keeping your house clean and unclutter and her ways are good. BUT very demanding. And if you're a stay at home mom it would probably work better for you. So what I decided to do is incorportate the stuff that works for me. Because let me tell you my sink has been clean for over a week and I love it. But for me, doing a zone when I get home for 9 hours at work is just not happening. Because when I get home all I want to do is spend time with little man. So about all I do is cook dinner and clean the kitchen. I've also kept up with swish and swipe in the morning. But for the 15 min task. I save those for the weekend when I'm off. SO instead of 15 min I will probably spend an hour or 2. But hey it works for me. On another note. My little man is still not keeping things down. He even got sick on pedialite. He doesnt have a fever or act like he doesnt feel good. I wish Tuse would hurry up and get here so we can ask the dr. Anyways I'm off to cook Scott's dinner so it will be ready when he gets home at midnight. Well until tomorrow.

These were taken this morning after breakfast. You can still his bed head hair. Of course he got more breakfast on him than in him it seems. So...I was wonder if anyone has a lactose intolerant baby? We started Tanner on regular milk last month. But it seems he either throws it up or has a really messy diaper afterwards. I guess he could still be adjusting to the milk. He has his well baby visit on Tuse I guess Scott will have to talk to her. He's not been eating too much lately either. I bought him some pedisure yesterday just so I know he's getting what he needs. ( He handled that just fine) I guess I will have to make a list of questions for Scott to take and ask. Okay well I'm off. I'm going to see if my little one will eat something.

New Look Again

Yes, yes I know. I change my blog more than I probably should. BUT I keep finding things I want to put on it. (i.e. the home videos. Just click the pic) I thought my other layout was getting rather cluttered. So I went back to this one. This is one of the first ones I had, but this way I can spread things out without everything looking so jumbled. Well I'm off. I'm giving myself 2 hours to do my "Weekly Blessing" and finish my zone for the week. I will probably post more again later.

Does anyone know...?

So I kinda have an issue and I'm not too sure what to do about it. I dont know if anyone remembers me talking about our new neighbors. Who by the way 2 months later still have no water, electricity, or septic tank, and yes they live there. I really try to be compassionate BUT sometimes its hard. I understand they may not have the money to get all that done, but I still have to wonder where they have been going to restroom for the past 2 months. SO my issue began a week ago, maybe 2 when they started digging for their septic tank. I guess they decided to do it themselves....issue one Can they do that? Issue two, how far away from our house does it have to be...because from where I'm looking it kinda looks like they are on our land....issue 3 who do I call to find out. Can I get someone to survey our land an mark the property line again so I can say hey stop. Because I really dont someone else's septic lines running in my yard. Ours is enough thank you very much. I dont have a clue who to call. I mean arent there codes they need to follow. I mean shoot we had to get a permit to build a drive way shouldnt they need one for something like that? If anyone knows I would greatly appreciate the imput because if I have to do something I would like to do it before they bury everything. Well I 'm off to put up groceries. Maybe I'll be on later, I dont know.

Bored....

I probably should be cleaning a hot spot but I am taking a few minutes to blog play. So as i'm sure you can see, I've added the Frappr map again. For some reason I cannot find my original one or get it to come up, so if you stop by please re-add yourself to my new one. Other than that I think I'm through adding new stuff today. Oh and I changed my song. I love this one. Because I am always wanting Tanner to slow down, it makes me smile. I first heard it when I was pregnant and I've loved it ever since.

Got this email today & thought I would share

PARENT - Job Description This is hysterical. If it had been presented this way, none of us would have done it!!!! POSITION : Mom, Mommy, Mama, Ma Dad, Daddy, Dada, Pa JOB DESCRIPTION : Long term, team players needed, for challenging permanent work in an, often chaotic environment. Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and be willing to work variable hours, which will include evenings and weekends and frequent 24 hour shifts on call. Extensive courier duties also required. RESPONSIBILITIES : The rest of your life. Must be willing to be hated, at least temporarily, until someone needs $5. Must be willing to bite tongue repeatedly. Also, must possess the physical stamina of a pack mule and be able to go from zero to 60 mph in three seconds flat in case, this time, the screams from the backyard are not someone just crying wolf. Must be willing to face stimulating technical challenges, such as small gadget repair, mysteriously sluggish toilets and stuck zippers. Must screen phone calls, maintain calendars and coordinate production of multiple homework projects. Must have ability to plan and organize social gatherings for clients of all ages and mental outlooks. Must be willing to be indispensable one minute, an embarrassment the next. Must handle assembly and product safety testing of a half million cheap, plastic toys, and battery operated devices. Must always hope for the best but be prepared for the worst. Must assume final, complete accountability for the quality of the end product. Responsibilities also include floor maintenance and janitorial work throughout the facility. POSSIBILITY FOR ADVANCEMENT & PROMOTION : None. Your job is to remain in the same position for years, without complaining, constantly retraining and updating your skills, so that those in your charge can ultimately surpass you PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE : None required unfortunately. On-the-job training offered on a continually exhausting basis. WAGES AND COMPENSATION : Get this! You pay them! Offering frequent raises and bonuses. A balloon payment is due when they turn 18 because of the assumption that college will help them become financially independent. When you die, you give them whatever is left. The oddest thing about this reverse-salary scheme is that you actually enjoy it and wish you could only do more. BENEFITS : While no health or dental insurance, no pension, no tuition reimbursement, no paid holidays and no stock options are offered; this job supplies limitless opportunities for personal growth and free hugs for life if you play your cards right. Forward this on to all the PARENTS you know, in appreciation for everything they do on a daily basis, letting them know they are appreciated for the fabulous job they do... After I read this I laughed, then thought most of its true. I remember being the kid. And now that I'm the mom, I look forward to every minute of it. Because looking at our wonderful kids smile and laugh...what bigger "benifit" could you ask for? Maybe a hug or kisses...but I'm not asking for too much....

Back to the work routine

And so it begins. The work routine, and trying to keep up with Ms. FlyLady routines. UGH. I have got the shining my sink down, and the swish and swipe in the morning while I'm getting ready. BUT these past couple of days have been tough. I do realize that getting into a routine takes awhile. I just feel like I'm already falling out of it and its only been 4 DAYS!! I promised myself I was going to keep at this for at least 2 months and see how it goes. When I do the hints they give I can tell the differance. Hell who knows maybe I'm just making excuses. SO I'm going to stop right now. I am going to take my shower, lay out my clothes, and the baby's for tomorrow. Then I am going to start my dishwasher and shine my sink and hit the hay. Until later yall. And he's out for the count....

Tanner's Dr. appt

First off let me say Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband!!! Next I will explain the picture. They are sitting in our recliner. I got out of the shower and found them this way. I couldnt resist taking the picture. Well today was a busy day. Tanner had his appt to have his tube removed. Everything is fine. I about freaked out when I say how long the tube actually was. It was about 12in long. All we saw was the inch and half that stuck out. But its over and done with. His Dr. said it looks wonderful. So no more double diapering. Yippie!! Anyways. Other than that. I can say that day 2 as a fly baby is a little slow. I was originally going to say I already slipped. But day 2 is get dressed to your shoes...which I did. Believe it or not. This weeks zone is the kitchen and I guess I kinda got a head start on it this weekend. Now its just really the details I need to do. I still have to do the 5 min scavenget hunt and take care of a hot spot. Which there are tons. BUT my sink still looks good. We will see how things keep going. I got back to work tomorrow. I have really enjoyed being a stay at home mom for these past 10 days. I cant wait until we get to the place we need to be so I can stay home....Well I'm off to find something for dinner. Love to you all.

I'm following suit

So I've been reading about this Flylady on other people's blogs. This wonderful woman, or group of women who help other women get rid of the clutter in their house one step at a time. So I had to find out about, because for those of you who know me, I need help with my clutter. So I went to her site and started reading. After I finished reading I decided I could do that. So now I am flying. Following her guidance and doing the baby steps a flybaby is suppose to do. I have shined my sink, and finished zone one today. I am proud of myself. The one thing it will be hard for me to do is put my shoes on everyday. I hate shoes. I really only put them on when I leave the house. So that will be a huge task for me. Now that I have said that I guess I could do a bit of catch up since I havent posted in a few days. I'll start with Friday. Scott and I cleaned, cleaned, and cleaned somemore. I was really proud of what we accomplished Friday. But I think I posted about that already. So I will skip to Sat. When my parents came down. Which is wonderful. I miss them so much and I wish I could spend more time with them, and I wish they could spend more time with Tanner. We had our Christmas with them and had a really enjoyable day. We even played my Harry Potter game, because my mom is a huge fan like I am. So today I decided to keep going with the cleaning bug. I finished my zone today. I got my sink really pretty. Beck came over and got A LOT of baby stuff, which unclutter Tanner's room a lot. So now I actually have the room to get in there and work on it. We've doing laundry all day. Its a never ending chore. Our big problem is that we have so many clothes that we dont have to wash every other day. But then they pile up and pile up until we cant see the floor. Its awful. BUT I am happy to say we are almost done. Well I think that pretty much covers the weekend. Tanner had a Dr. appt tomorrow, they are going to remove his tube. Thank goodness. I am so ready for it to come out. So is he. He popped a stitch the day before yesterday. Well I'm off. Since I've been slacking in the picture dept. Here are a few to catch up....

Cleaning day

Oh god did we get the cleaning bug today. I have been cleaning all day it seems. I have taken everything out of the fridge scrubbed the indside with bleach, I've cleaned the guest bathroom and bedroom. I've been doing laundry and going through old clothes. Scotts doing the kitchen. We finally put the seasonal decorations back in the shed. The only thing left is our bed room and the computer room which we are rearranging. Then it will be time to take a break. I'm going to be sooo tired. My family is coming tomorrow. Yippiee....they havent been here since Tanner's bday party. He's learned so much since then. He is officially a walker. He is no longer on the bottle. He knows how to wave hi and bye. He can shake his little diapered bootie. And if you ask him for something, he will hand it over. My little man is getting so big. Well I'm off to finish what I've got to do. Because if I sit for too long I will loose the cleaning urge. Later ya'll.

Busy day

Just a quick post, my hubby came home early and is waiting for some grub. I went running around today with my mother in law. We were suppose to get my leave of absence papers filled out but the Dr was out of the office and wont be back until tomorrow. So we did our gift card shopping. Went to sears and had this done. Isnt it cute. I'm am so proud of myself. I only spent 25$. I got 3 8x10 of this. So mom and dad if you're reading this, you're getting one. We exchanged that dumb Elmo for a Pooh. Hopefully it will work. Took him to Toys R Us and used his gift cards. I finished my sears gift cards up on new bras and panties. We did some other stuff, but nothing worth metioning. Well I'm off. Speghetti is calling to be made. Later.

I am so mad

Does anyone have one of these?? Tanner got this Elmo for his birthday and no matter what we do we cant get it to work. Which really sucks. I was excited when he got it. Elmo is suppose to say his name, and know his daily routine. Stuff like that. Well we've programed it like 5 times and all we get is the dumb lady saying Elmo knows your name. Well duh...if Elmo knows his name why doesnt he say it? So I'm going to call Fisher Price in the morning to see if they can tell us what do if they cant then I guess I will return it for a differant Elmo. Okay well I'm gone for the night. Until later.

New Years Resolutions

I dont know why I bother with New years resolutions. I never keep them. My one for the year should be not to make one. But its tradition. Scott and I sit up and think about what we want to get done and TRY to do it. Besides from the normal...safe money, loose weight, type stuff. This year I would love to get the remodeling of our house done. I would love to be finished with it all by Christmas of this year. That means the yards and everything. I think we're starting the yard work this month. If I'm not mistaking. Next I want to make sure we start Tanner's savings account. We need one too. But I want his for school. College. Private school. What ever. I just want to make sure we start one. This may seem silly. But I really want to make sure we start reading with Tanner everynight. He's starting to bring books to us and I want to keep him interested in them. Even if its just a night time story. And finally I want to make sure we take him and us somewhere this year. Even if its just to the zoo. Okay so thats 4. Lets see how we actually keep. Just thought of another...stay on top of the house work instead of letting it pile up. Now lets see in 3 months how many of these we actually keep up with, WELL I have to get going its time for the little ones medicine. Hope everyone had a great new year. Until later.
