Tanner's Surgery

Well our little on had his surgery today. We had to be at MCG at 630 this morning. They are wonderful there. We got there they gave him a toy the nurses were wonderful. They gave him some verset (I probably spelled that wrong) which is a drug that relaxes them and makes them forget and makes them silly. He was so funny. He was talking to everyone who walked past his door. The nurses stopped outside the door and played pick a boo, and pattty cake with him. When it was time for him to go to the OR the lead nurse and anastisolaist argued over who carried him. While we were in the waiting room the nurse called us every hour and let us know what was going on. It was the longest 3 hours of our lives. When it was finally over the doctor came and got us and talked to us . He said everything went well. He told us about the tube in him and all that good stuff. Of course we had tons of questions. Then they finally took us back to the recovery room and thats when I about lost it. He had all these wires on him and an IV. He woke up like the minute we got there. I was aloud to pick him up and rock him. I did not want to put him down. He came out of the anasthisia really good. The nurse was shocked. He never cried. Not even when she took out his IV and by the time we could take him home he was still out of it but happy, waving at all the nurses playing patty cake. Now we're in for a long week. We have to change his diaper like every hour. He has to wear 2 diapers. The first on we have to cut a whole in so it supports him and the tube, then we have to put another diaper on top of it to catch the urine from the tube. He has to take 3 medicines. Just a lot of stuff to care for. So the dr gave me 2 weeks off from work. I'll probably go back after the tube comes out on the 9th. We'll just have to wait and see. Right now he's asleep with his daddy. We're all worn out. Hopefully tomorrow he'll be able to play. He tried to walk today but he cant keep his balance poor guy. Well I 'm off to find something to eat. Later ya'll.

New look

I know its not the New Year yet. But Christmas is over and I decided to get a new look. I almost changed it because the Hello Kitty picture wasnt showing up on my side. But it doesn now and I like it. Well not too much is going on. I actually got off of work early. So now I think I'm going to do the kitchen and cook some dinner. Right after I email my husband. Since I cant call him at work. Well until later ya'll.

Well there you go. Lots of Christmas pictures. These last four were taken at my in laws. Where his favorite toy was the pooh air plane. Once he learns how to move those legs he'll be running over everyones toes. Ya'll have a good night.

K, its working now

He got the little touch leap pad for his birthday and these are all the books he got to go with them. And he got 2 of those pop itz up there. They come with a thousand pieces....where am I going to put it all?

I'll just update

I guess I will just update for now, I think blogger is tired of me uploading pictures... These past few days have been crazy. Nice but crazy. Things are slowing down at work. Finally. I actuall get ot work 8 hours instead of 10 or 11. Tanner had his pre-op appt last Wed. I think I forgot to post about it. Everything went good. They really just weighed him, blood pressure, explained to us what would happen when we brought him in. But now he's got a little cold. So I have to call the Dr. tomorrow because they may not do it until its gone. Lets see what else. I had to call the sheriffs dept. today because of the brats that live behinde us. Not only did they egg our house, they got paint ball guns for Christmas and decided to use our dog as target practice. (Thank god they ar bad shots). So now our house will be checked on 3-4 times a day by a sheriff. So hopefully they get caught. But the sheriff said they couldnt charge the kids with anything but they could their parents. I hate to be like that BUT these kids have been pestering our dogs for like 2 and half years. Enough is enough. Well thats they update. I will try to post the rest of the pics I wanted to post later. Maybe blogger just needed a break. Later ya'll.

The Christmas Entry...sit back and relax, this may take awhile

Our tree and all the gifts Someone couldnt stay awake for Santa Everything that Santa left I guess I will start with Christmas eve. I had to work a very long hetic day. Which ended at 6pm. Let me tell you those last minute shoppers get crazy. Anywhoo. I went to Scott's parents for grilled cheese and tomato soup. A tradition in his family. Scott had to work from 3-midnight, but luckly got off at 1000pm. SO we got to play Santa and put together all these toys. Which was not easy with someone snoozing on the floor. Since all of them make noise. But we did get it accomplished....

Our mission to save a puppy

I guess happy stories are best around this time of year. I dont know if anyone remembers me menitoning our new neighbors. Well they have been here almost 3 months without out water, electricity, or a septic tank. I kind of feel bad for them. Its cold at night and I wonder how they are staying there, plus they have kids. Then of course I cant help but wonder where they are using the rest room and getting their water...mainly because they live next door and some health issues come up. I'm sure you are wondering where the puppy comes in...well they bought a cute lab retriever right after they moved there. Well 2 weeks ago I come home and see them loading all their clothes into the back of a pickup truck. And they leave their puppy. So we were like okay maybe they're just going to wash or something. Well they didnt come back. So that poor puppy stayed out in the cold with no food or water or shelter. Well after the 2nd day I start to feel bad and I put food and water out for him. Then I see him close to the street so I asked Scott if we could put him in the backyard with Bizkit. So we waited to see if anyone would come back, and they never did. So our mission was to get this puppy a good home before Christmas. And yesterday we did. I asked around work and someone said they would take him. They have fenced in back yard. And 3 people to spoil him. I wish I wouldve taken a pic to show everyone. He is a very loveable puppy. I 'm just glad we were able to get him a good home. Because no one came to look for him. Our neighbors came back today for a few ours to dig...I guess they are digging for a septic tank. But they havent asked and even if they do I plan on saying I havent seen him. I mean they left him for 3 weeks!!! I had a little guilt attack right after we dropped him off at his new home, but now I know he will be better off. Well I'm off to bed. Tomorrow is going to be a very long day!!! 12 hours. YUCK. I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas. I probably wont post again until Monday. Love to you all.

Well my baby is one today. It seems ust like yesterday he was this little. And now he's walking and learning new things everyday. And he'll be celebrating his 2nd Christmas....sigh. I wish time could slow down just a little. Well Happy birthday my sweet baby boy....

Busy Busy Week

Well as I'm sure you can tell from my lack of posting these past 2 weeks, it has been a busy, hetic week. I hate to say it, but I cant wait for the Christmas season to be over with. I've been going in at 100am because by 730 we are so packed I cant work. And the closer it gets to Sunday the worse its going to be. But after Christmas we will get a 3 day weekend and get to our daily 7-4 weekends off routine. Thank God. Well the pictures I posted are of course from Tanner's bday but they are off of my dads camera. Of course we all got differant shots. Anyways I'm off, I have to put together gift bags for the ladies in my area and get my Christmas cards for work together. Then I'm going to bed. I get to sleep until 2am today. Yippie!!!!. Birthday Recap

Well this is actually a really long entry, I just broke it up into sections. We had Tanner's birthday party today. (His birthday isnt until the 22nd). We had an awesome time. Just a few family and friends came over. We actually rented a room for the party because there is not a lot of room at our place. The kids played a few games, at pizza and cake and ice cream. We came home with a truck load of gifts and just think Christmas in next Sunday. I have no room for all this stuff. But Tanner had a great time. My dad made this great DVD of Tanners first years. I loved it. I wanted to cry when we played it. Its crazy to think that my baby will be a year old next week. Time has gone by so fast. Well I'm going to get off this thing now, my folks are here until tomorrow so I'm going to spend some time with them, since this is the last time we will see them until after Christmas. Until later ya'll.

Just an update

Its been awhile since I posted . I've been busy at work and getting ready for Tanner's bday party this weekend. We had some drama last night. I washed some clothes and our shower and tubs flooded. God....our septic tank was full. We were freaking out. I was told by some one that it cost 1500 dollars to have it drained. I was crying, Scott was so mad. So I started calling this morning. Thank god it only cost $200. That was part of our Christmas money. So thats a downer. But I know God doesnt give what we cant handle. But we just had so many plans for Christmas. We will deal. Well let me go, I just wanted to up date and let everyone know we're alive. Have a good day ya'll.

Well it let me download some more pictures. I told you there were a lot. Not much going on. Work is getting busy. I came home and we got into the Christmas spirit and decorated today.
